Well done to Ty students Katie Glynn and Sarah Silva on attending SciFest with their teacher, Ms Kennedy, on Wednesday. The girls has earlier this school year won an award for their project in the St. Brigids College SciFest and went on to enter it in the Regional SciFest at ATU Galway. Their project was titled "Water usage in fast fashion" and it was entered under the "Life Sciences" category. The girls prepared a Report book and a poster board. They also prepared an excellent oral presentation for the competition. The girls learnt a lot from the day, which will help them going forward if they decide to enter again!
