Science – Extra Curricular Activities
The Science Department in St Brigid’s College strive to allow students as many opportunities as possible to engage with Science, both in and outside the classroom. Below are some of the wonderful events and activities that students have participated in.
"Healthy Rivers Campaign”
Some of our 1st Year Science students testing our school stream as part of the “Healthy Rivers Campaign” run through Globe Ireland. A selection of students made a presentation to Globe Ireland on their findings.Well done to all involved.
I WISH Inspiring Women in STEM 2025
In February, 50 of our TY girls travelled to the RDS in Dublin for the I Wish 2025 event, an inspiring day dedicated to show casing the endless possibilities for women in STEM!
The girls had the opportunity to hear from incredible guest speakers and enjoy the interactive exhibition area.
